Account Executive

• Proactively identify, research, and pursue fleet prospects.
• Break into new accounts through targeted outreach, networking, industry events, and referrals.
• Develop and manage relationships with fleet operators from initial contact through contract close, vehicle build, and delivery.
• Take a consultative sales approach by actively listening, understanding operational needs, and proposing tailored vehicle solutions.
• Consistently meet or exceed established sales quotas, revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain accurate and timely sales activity tracking, pipeline management, and reporting in the CRM (HubSpot).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and leadership to ensure technical alignment and seamless delivery.
• Anticipate and address customer objections, finding solutions to advance deals.
• Stay current on EV market trends, competitor activity, and customer challenges.
• Provide market insights and feedback to help shape product offerings.
• Travel to customer sites as needed for meetings, demonstrations, and relationship management, based on the requirements of assigned accounts.

Field Engineer

• Diagnose, repair, and report on quality and design concerns on Xos vehicles and products.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as design, engineering, software, and external partners.
• Demonstrate proficiency in low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) electrical diagnosis, controls, and module programming.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of basic electrical concepts, including the use of various volt-ohm meters.
• Possess strong mechanical knowledge of commercial truck mechanical systems with experience in motors and harness systems preferred.
• Provide professional customer facing support through face-to-face interactions and through phone and email communications.
• Complete timely and accurate case notes, repair orders, and initiate new cases as required.
• Demonstrate professional appearance and effective communication skills with customers on-site and in remote interactions.
• Complete training objectives and certifications as assigned by management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Field Service Technician

• Build on the Mobile Charging team’s existing strategies to target key customer segments for mobile EV charging.
• Find and research prospects through social media, membership organizations, trade publications, and other channels that we may not have thought of yet.
• Conduct daily and weekly outbound calls and emails to targeted accounts (Note: Volume is important, but working smarter to get quality leads is more valuable than generating a long list of flimsy contacts. If you have good strategies for reaching the right people, we want to hear your ideas).
• Schedule and lead virtual meetings and discovery conversations, displaying excellent sales etiquette at all times.
• Qualify (or disqualify) prospects based on goals, budget, timelines, and site constraints.
• Take detailed notes within our customer relationship management (CRM) system, HubSpot.
• Uncover customer objections and other roadblocks, and find creative ways to advance and win deals.
• Communicate product feedback and desired features to Xos engineering and leadership teams.
• Participate in field sales and marketing events, product demonstrations, and customer deployments (estimated 25% travel)
