Business Development Representative – Cybersecurity

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take ownership of proactive lead generation and pipeline development in Switzerland and Germany
- Identify relevant stakeholders and decision-makers in target companies
- Coordinate initial meetings with our sales team
- Build and maintain your own lead pipeline through structured outbound activities (email, phone, LinkedIn, video)
- Research and engage primarily technical decision-makers (e.g., CISOs, IT managers) within enterprise accounts
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads
- Schedule and prepare presentation meetings
- Work closely with marketing, partners and sales to optimize sales campaigns
- Maintain all activities and contacts in the CRM (HubSpot)
- Represent xorlab at events and webinars
- Actively contribute to and continuously improve our BDR processes and tools, playbooks and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3 years' experience in outbound sales (BDR/SDR/Inside Sales) within the B2B software, IT, or cybersecurity space
- Proven track record in lead generation and securing meetings with enterprise customers
- Familiar with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) and modern sales tools
- Strong interest in IT security and a basic technical understanding
- Strong communication skills across all channels – written, phone and in person
- Self-organized, structured work style with a strong hunter mentality
- Fluent in German (written and spoken) and business-fluent (negotiation-level) in English
