About the role
- A typical day will consist of, virtually or onsite, leading a myriad of engineering centric activities for internal and external customers.
- Utilize your strengths as an advanced product quality planning engineer to improve our Quality Management System and related processes.
- Using your experience, you will work cross-functionally with internal and external customers teams to improve customer experience by preventing customer complaints and rejections.
- This person will work closely with engineering and lead a world class organization effectively managing a proactive system following AS9145/ IATF 16949 (ISO TS 16949) requirements through internal and external resources to ensure quick completion.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality engineering
- Strong analytical & mechanical technical experience
- Effective verbal and written English communicator
- Effective facilitator of cross functional team meetings
- Good time management / project management capabilities
- Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings/specifications
- Strong experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Customers and Suppliers
- Full understanding of IATF 16949 Automotive standard (or equivalent)
