About the role
- Lead design efforts for complex, cross-cutting initiatives that span multiple teams or product areas
- Partner deeply with Product Managers and Engineering leads to shape problem definition, scope, and approach
- Translate ambiguous product and customer needs into clear, scalable experience strategies and design solutions
- Set a strong design point of view and influence direction through rationale, craft, and outcomes
- Produce high-quality design work while guiding others through reviews, feedback, and shared problem-solving
- Identify experience gaps, risks, and opportunities early and help teams navigate tradeoffs
- Contribute to improving design practices, workflows, and quality standards across the organization
Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience working on complex digital products
- Proven experience leading design on ambiguous, high-impact initiatives
- Strong systems thinking and ability to design across workflows and journeys
- Excellent interaction, UX, and visual design skills, with a portfolio showing strategic depth and execution
- Experience in influencing without authority in cross-functional environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate decisions and tradeoffs.
