About the role
- Use your expertise to develop and implement the applicable sourcing strategy
- Aid production in troubleshooting order execution to ensure customer success
- Interface directly with 3D printing shops, internal staff members, management, and customers
- Work on special projects related to expanding capabilities of manufacturing partner network
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, technical or related field preferred
- 5+ years in engineering and manufacturing environment in 3D printing, preferably at a multi-technology 3D printing shop
- Knowledge of optimum 3D printing technology and material selections
- Experience working with suppliers, OEM equipment providers, and customers
- Knowledge of GD&T and inspection/QA practices of the USA is a plus
- Experience with 3D printing software (Materialise Magics, Rhino - Rhinoceros 3D) is necessary
- Experience with general 3D CAD modeling software is a plus (SolidWorks preferred)
- Ability to identify design for manufacturing (DFM) issues based on 3D models and drawings
- Exceptional communication English skills
