Data Engineer

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to efficiently capture, store, and process large volumes of healthcare data from diverse sources.
• Lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics models, including machine learning and predictive modeling, to identify trends, predict risks, and optimize pricing, underwriting, and claims processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT, vendor and business teams across the organization to translate data insights into actionable business strategies, improving customer and provider experience and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of a world-class data platform that supports data science, analytics, product, and engineering needs across the company.
• Champion and ensure the privacy and security of our customers' data.
• Provide leadership and guidance to your teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
• Own Data Jira boards that include creating stories, assigning responsibility, and reporting progress.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that all solutions adhere to industry standards, including HIPAA compliance and data security best practices.
• Quality Assurance: Work with the Quality Engineering team to ensure that solutions are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards before deployment.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize system performance, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to leverage new solutions to improve our products and services.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the architecture function.

Principal Data Engineer

DevOps Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, AppSync GraphQL and CloudFormation/Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, observability and scaling processes to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

ServiceNow

• Configure and customize ServiceNow CSM modules: account & contact management, entitlements, case management, knowledge, and omni-channel support.
• Implement and tailor HCLS modules (Member Services, Provider Relations, Utilization Management) per design specifications.
• Build out case management flows: claims intake, adjudication, grievances, and appeals using CSM case stages, SLAs, and assignment rules.
• Develop utilization management processes: prior authorization requests, medical necessity reviews, care coordination tasks.
• Create and enhance the Customer Service Portal and Member/Provider portals using Service Portal Designer and UI Builder.
• Implement client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions to enforce business rules and streamline user experience.
• Develop integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub spokes, and MID Server for secure data exchange with AWS Data Lake, Microsoft 365/SharePoint, and external claims systems.
• Automate batch transfers (sFTP) and event-driven messaging (EventBridge, Kafka).
• Leverage Flow Designer and ServiceNow Orchestration to automate end-to-end processes (case routing, entitlement checks, document generation, notifications).
• Implement application lifecycle management using Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow Update Sets; assist in authoring Infrastructure as Code for dev/test environments.
• Write Automated Test Framework (ATF) tests and coordinate UAT with business and QA teams; conduct performance and load testing.
• Manage deployments across Dev → QA → Prod using change management best practices; package update sets and scoped apps.
• Provide Tier-2/3 production support: incident triage, root cause analysis, system maintenance, monitoring, tuning, and applying patches/upgrades.
• Work closely with the Architect, business analysts, QA engineers, and stakeholders; produce technical documentation and train support teams/end-users.
