Sales Manager – IT
Xivotec GmbHSales Manager in IT focusing on B2B customer acquisition and relationship management. Collaborating with the development team to showcase and sell software solutions.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Active acquisition of new B2B customers and expansion of existing customer relationships
- Identification and outreach to potential customers in mechanical engineering, automation, and industrial sectors
- Presentation and promotion of our software products and services
- Independently managing the entire sales process – from initial contact to contract closing
- Preparing proposals, presentations, and tailored solution concepts in collaboration with the development team
- Monitoring the market and identifying new business opportunities and trends
- Participating in trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences
- Maintaining and documenting all sales activities in the CRM system
- Further development of sales structures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in a business or technical field (e.g., Business Administration, Business Informatics, IT, or equivalent)
- Professional experience in IT sales, ideally in software development or IT services
- Basic technical understanding of software and development processes – you don't need to program yourself, but you should understand the language of our customers and developers
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a confident demeanor
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a hands-on mentality
- Experience in customer acquisition as well as building and maintaining long-term business relationships
- Excellent written and spoken German; English skills are an advantage.
