About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Active acquisition of new B2B customers and expansion of existing customer relationships
  • Identification and outreach to potential customers in mechanical engineering, automation, and industrial sectors
  • Presentation and promotion of our software products and services
  • Independently managing the entire sales process – from initial contact to contract closing
  • Preparing proposals, presentations, and tailored solution concepts in collaboration with the development team
  • Monitoring the market and identifying new business opportunities and trends
  • Participating in trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences
  • Maintaining and documenting all sales activities in the CRM system
  • Further development of sales structures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in a business or technical field (e.g., Business Administration, Business Informatics, IT, or equivalent)
  • Professional experience in IT sales, ideally in software development or IT services
  • Basic technical understanding of software and development processes – you don't need to program yourself, but you should understand the language of our customers and developers
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a confident demeanor
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a hands-on mentality
  • Experience in customer acquisition as well as building and maintaining long-term business relationships
  • Excellent written and spoken German; English skills are an advantage.
