About the role
- Introducing, evolving and designing operating models for the relevant cloud platform (focus: Microsoft Azure)
- Designing sustainable security and management processes to govern the implemented applications and services
- Developing blueprints, best practices and architectural standards for the cloud infrastructure
- Ensuring the security, scalability and performance of cloud solutions
- Requirements management and process analysis as well as active technical governance of customer projects
- Securing completed solutions in collaboration with software development to ensure integration and automation
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in cloud and infrastructure environments
- Strong professional experience in designing and operating cloud infrastructures with deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience with at least one additional hyperscaler such as AWS, GCP or Alibaba Cloud (multi-cloud environments)
- Solid knowledge of cloud architectures, software development processes (DevOps, CI/CD) and cloud security best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to define a clear technical vision and support its implementation across various stakeholder groups
- Additional qualifications such as Microsoft Azure certifications, experience with hybrid cloud architectures, knowledge of cloud sovereignty concepts or observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) are considered a plus
- Fluent in English and German or Portuguese (depending on location)
