About the role
- Help drive adoption of Xero within accounting firms moving to Xero's cloud platform
- Mix of consulting and sales: uncover opportunities and present Xero solutions
- Domestic travel up to 40% to meet partners, host events and certifications
- Additional 10% domestic travel for trainings and events
- Remote work from home office for remaining time
- Demonstrate Xero solutions in pre-sales to accountants and bookkeepers
- Work closely with external stakeholders to deepen Xero platform adoption
- Deliver business plans for partners with the sales team
- Assist partners with data conversions, technical questions, and escalations
- Educate partners on partner resources and manage CRM updates
- Create resources (processes/videos) for frequently asked partner questions
Requirements
- CPA Certification
- 3+ years of accounting or public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice and it's systems
- Enthusiasm for the emerging cloud accounting market and its potential
- Ability to build mutually beneficial partnerships and create quick, strong rapport with accountants and other stakeholders
- Results driven mindset with strong initiative and ability to work independently
- Ability to work cohesively with the partner sales team using Xero’s four pronged approach
- Outstanding communication, planning and presentation skills
- Capacity to learn, adapt and apply ideas in constantly morphing situations
