About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and lead end-to-end AI systems from problem framing to production deployment
- Architect complex agent-based workflows and multi-step reasoning systems
- Make decisions on model selection, fine-tuning, and appropriate approach
- Define evaluation frameworks, metrics, and feedback loops for reliability
- Ensure systems are scalable, observable, and robust in production environments
- Mentor other engineers and influence technical direction
- Drive effective use of AI tooling to improve productivity
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years building and deploying ML or AI systems
- Strong System Design Skills
- Deep AI Expertise with LLM systems or traditional ML
- Pragmatism in approach to problem-solving
- Experience designing and using evals to drive system improvements
- Engineering Excellence with high standards for code quality, testing, and maintainability
- Leadership & Mentorship experience
- Strong ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools effectively
