Designing and administering SQL Server databases in AWS environments (RDS, EC2)
Planning and executing database migrations from on-premise to AWS using tools such as AWS DMS
Ensuring database performance, security, and compliance with client standards
Resolving compatibility issues during migration and upgrade processes
Supporting CI/CD database deployments using tools such as GitLab and Flyway
Monitoring database performance and troubleshooting issues
Collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile/Kanban environments

Requirements

10+ years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA or Developer
Experience with SQL Server (2016/2019/2022)
Strong experience with database migrations to AWS (RDS, EC2)
Experience with AWS DMS or similar migration tools
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
Knowledge of database monitoring tools (e.g., Foglight)
Understanding of database performance optimization, HA/DR solutions, and security standards
Nice to have: experience with Typescript and AWS CDK
Familiarity with ITIL framework and GDPR principles
Experience working in Agile environments
Experience with tools such as ServiceNow and Confluence
