designing and administering SQL Server databases in AWS environments (RDS, EC2)
planning and executing database migrations from on-premise to AWS using tools such as AWS DMS
ensuring database performance, security, and compliance with client standards
resolving compatibility issues during migration and upgrade processes
supporting CI/CD database deployments using tools such as GitLab and Flyway
monitoring database performance and troubleshooting issues
collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile/Kanban environments.

Requirements

10+ years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA or Developer
experience with SQL Server (2016/2019/2022)
strong experience with database migrations to AWS (RDS, EC2)
experience with AWS DMS or similar migration tools
experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
knowledge of database monitoring tools (e.g., Foglight)
understanding of database performance optimization, HA/DR solutions, and security standards.
Nice to have: experience with Typescript and AWS CDK, familiarity with ITIL framework and GDPR principles, experience working in Agile environments, experience with tools such as ServiceNow and Confluence.
