About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, clarify, and interpret service policies and tariffs for internal and external customers across multiple states
- Serve as the primary Service Policy resource for Distribution Design and Engineering, Construction, Legal, Regulatory, and Rates
- Propose tariff language changes influencing corporate policy and customer requirements
- Address escalated customer questions and ensure consistent policy and tariff interpretation
- Coordinate exception requests to the company's Standard for Installation and Use
- Recommend tariff changes while maintaining regulatory compliance and fairness
- Collaborate with Asset Management, Legal, Rates, Electric Meter, and Engineering
- Maintain and update service policy documentation, tools, and website content
- Provide and coordinate training on Service Policy procedures and tariff adherence
- Communicate tariff and policy changes internally and externally
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years' experience in construction, engineering, delivery design, process improvement, policy development, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated skills in problem resolution, communication, decision making, process improvement, and policy development
- Previous experience writing administrative policies and procedures preferred
- Previous experience with automation tools such as Copilot or Power Automate preferred
- Previous experience in utility rates preferred
- Previous experience with SAP, MadCap, Microsoft Office, and gas/electric tariffs preferred
