About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Furnishes sales assistance by responding to customers' procedural questions on product lines, incentive applications, and other energy related issues.
Provides analytic, computer-based support for sales databases to reps.
Prepares rate analyses, contracts, proposals and sales presentations.
Responds to customer and third-party requests for billing histories.
Monitors and provides reports on call handling performance.
Provides out bound sales follow-up.
Serves as a liaison with the Xcel Marketing fulfillment function.
Supports achievement of sales, customer satisfaction, and customer service goals by extracting, analyzing and organizing data in accurate, concise and professional formats.
Aids in the successful implementation and maintenance of the customer relationship management tool for the Mass Market.
Requires close communication with Sales Support Specialists in other locations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least three years of marketing, sales or customer service experience or combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
High school diploma.
Associates degree or certification desired.
Advanced skill level in spreadsheets and database creation and maintenance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications.
Excellent written and oral communication and listening skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently, as well as be a successful team member.
