About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the enterprise implementation strategy for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP EPPM across Xcel Energy.
- Establish a long-term enterprise planning and portfolio management roadmap aligned with corporate strategy and S/4HANA transformation objectives.
- Drive modernization of financial planning & forecasting, capital & operating expense governance, and human capital planning.
- Ensure alignment between enterprise planning capabilities and other strategic initiatives related to reliability, affordability, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and clean energy transition goals.
- Build integrated enterprise capabilities to support planning and governance in capital investments over a five-year horizon.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and PMO teams to improve investment prioritization, forecasting accuracy, scenario modeling, and portfolio visibility.
- Oversee end-to-end implementation delivery, including strategy, design, build, testing, deployment, integration, and operational stabilization.
- Lead vendor and systems integrator relationships, including scope management, delivery oversight, and accountability for outcomes.
- Serve as the executive-facing technology and business leader for enterprise planning transformation initiatives.
- Lead enterprise change management efforts to ensure the successful adoption of new planning processes and technologies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale ERP, enterprise planning, or digital transformation initiatives.
- 5+ years leading enterprise SAP implementations or major transformation programs.
- Experience implementing or managing SAP SAC, SAP EPPM, SAP BPC, SAP S/4HANA, or related enterprise planning technologies.
- Demonstrated success leading large cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing large consulting/vendor partnerships and enterprise program budgets.
