Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Generation Development Project Managers and the oversight of the technical evaluation, due diligence, and development of conceptual and proposed generation projects
Initiate and develop combustion turbine and other dispatchable generation projects
Ensure effective collaboration of multi-disciplinary teams in appraising, selecting and defining technical and performance parameters for proposed generation projects
Provide integrated support to Corporate Development, Supply Chain, Transmission, Major Projects Group and Regulatory groups
Support the negotiation of key contracts
Manage the projects with a matrixed team through the conceptual and development phases
Champion innovation in dispatchable generation and optimize development processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS degree in engineering, business, or related discipline
10+ years of power or industrial construction and diversified project management experience
Experience developing or managing large or multiple construction projects at least $50M in aggregate value
Ability to travel as required to manage responsibilities across the fleet is required
Project Management Professional and/or Professional Engineer registration (preferred)
5+ years experience in dispatchable generation projects (preferred)
