About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze learning needs
- Partner with stakeholders to identify performance gaps and define learning requirements
- Conduct needs assessments to inform instructional approach
- Create clear, behavior-based learning objectives aligned to business outcomes
- Apply adult learning principles to ensure relevance and engagement
- Build instructional materials (e.g., storyboards, WBT modules, facilitator guides, job aids)
- Design practice activities that help learners apply skills on the job
- Assist with pilots, learner communications, and rollout activities
- Collaborate with SMEs, facilitators, and development partners
- Help define success metrics and evaluation methods
- Analyze learner feedback and performance data to improve learning outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field with relevant coursework.
- Coursework or hands-on experience in: Instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE), Adult learning theory / andragogy, Curriculum or training development
- Must be local to Minnesota or Colorado
