About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze learning needs
Partner with stakeholders to identify performance gaps and define learning requirements
Conduct needs assessments to inform instructional approach
Create clear, behavior-based learning objectives aligned to business outcomes
Apply adult learning principles to ensure relevance and engagement
Build instructional materials (e.g., storyboards, WBT modules, facilitator guides, job aids)
Design practice activities that help learners apply skills on the job
Assist with pilots, learner communications, and rollout activities
Collaborate with SMEs, facilitators, and development partners
Help define success metrics and evaluation methods
Analyze learner feedback and performance data to improve learning outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field with relevant coursework.
Coursework or hands-on experience in: Instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE), Adult learning theory / andragogy, Curriculum or training development
Must be local to Minnesota or Colorado
