About the role
- Develop and launch new energy efficiency, renewable energy and demand response programs
- Work with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop new programs, improve business processes, conduct strategic planning, and strengthen working relationship with key business partners
- Lead and manage development of new customer programs with scope includes energy efficiency, renewable energy, and demand response programs
- Support development of large/complex new products and assure successful transition to Product Management.
- Prepare business plans for new product ideas utilizing the product development process, including financial, market, competition, etc.
- Gain agreement on recommendations and develop and maintain relationships with partner organizations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or related discipline or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- MBA preferred
- Five years' experience in product development, program management, engineering, or regulatory administration
- Experience with investor-owned utility customer energy programs preferred
- Proven project management experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Minimum of seven years' experience in product development, program management, engineering, or regulatory administration for Sr Product Developer.
- A minimum of two years' experience in at least one of the following areas is required: competitive product development; DSM product development; renewable energy; energy monitoring and information services
