About the role
- Building and maintaining the core data infrastructure that powers analytics across the company.
- Designing pipelines and data models that pull from product systems, observability tooling, and external sources into a reliable, scalable data platform.
- Working closely with SRE, product, and engineering teams to ensure data is correctly captured, structured, and aligned across services.
- Maintaining observability stacks to support debugging and system reliability.
- Defining and enforcing data quality standards.
- Supporting KPI development and ensuring all pipelines and data flows meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- SQL RDMSs such as PostgreSQL.
- Experience with large-scale analytics engines such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks.
- Experience with observability solutions such as Datadog or NewRelic.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with public cloud deployment, including Kubernetes.
- Understanding of GDPR and similar regulations worldwide.
- Bonus If You Have: Experience with the Microsoft Fabric platform.
- Bonus If You Have: Understanding of data pipeline design, workflow orchestration, and tools such as Apache Airflow or Dagster.
