About the role
- Develop, implement, and maintain the test control quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures, plans, and manuals
- Ensure QMS compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Define quality standards for testing processes from receiving to final inspection
- Review and approve technical documents to meet quality requirements
- Provide quality oversight for testing activities; ensure correct execution of procedures
- Collect and analyze quality metrics for performance tracking and improvement
- Manage testing nonconformance program and perform root cause analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or related field from an accredited college or university
- Typically, ten years of experience, including eight years performing QA/QC activities and oversight in a test facility, manufacturing environment, construction and/or operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of nuclear/non-nuclear Quality Standards such as 10 CFR 50 App B, ASME NQA-1, ISO 9001
- Familiarity with ASME BPVC, Sections II, III, V, IX
- Strong understanding of testing processes and the control of measuring and test equipment (M&TE)
