About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide security engineering support, cyber-informed engineering support, and DevOps lifecycle management from a security perspective
- Lead the integration of security practices into development and operations workflows
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate security tools and practices into DevOps workflows
- Provide cyber-informed engineering support
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts, tools, and frameworks
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices
- Design and implement infrastructure security controls across cloud environments
- Support security incident response activities
- Establish and maintain security metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms
- Develop and maintain documentation for security processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5+ years DevOps/security experience
- 3+ years DevSecOps
- Security+ or equivalent
- Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP)
- CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or CKS (Preferred/Optional)
