About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides expertise in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
Responsible for the integration, test, deployment, and troubleshooting of various production-ready mission services deployed in an on-prem enclave and AWS Cloud environments.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Requirements

What you’ll need

TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
OR The individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.
OR An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience. A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.
Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
Experience performing Linux System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS products, packages, and libraries
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
Experience with IaC principles and automation tools including Ansible
Experience with Git Source Control System
