About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee program staff as directed by the Director of Program Development and Management Office (PDMO)
- Apply project management methodology to manage high risk and complex programs
- Serve in the primary management leadership role for low-to-medium risk programs
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day productivity and task management on Health Affairs programs
- Partner with senior executives to define program approach and provide support for various initiatives
- Assist the PDMO Leadership with performing PDMO quality control
- Organize and coordinate Health Affairs programs across internal departments and between external research and development partners
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, WVU and PDMO policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in a relevant field
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following:
- Experience with managing projects professionally
- Advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
- Knowledge of State, Board of Governors, and University policies and procedures
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
