About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee program staff as directed by the Director of Program Development and Management Office (PDMO)
  • Apply project management methodology to manage high risk and complex programs
  • Serve in the primary management leadership role for low-to-medium risk programs
  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day productivity and task management on Health Affairs programs
  • Partner with senior executives to define program approach and provide support for various initiatives
  • Assist the PDMO Leadership with performing PDMO quality control
  • Organize and coordinate Health Affairs programs across internal departments and between external research and development partners
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, WVU and PDMO policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following:
  • Experience with managing projects professionally
  • Advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • Knowledge of State, Board of Governors, and University policies and procedures
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
