About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Creating social media and digital content.
- Actively engage on social media accounts to enhance reputation and build relationships with key audiences.
- Shoot and edit high-quality videos and photographs for social media and other marketing/branding efforts.
- Architect, build, and manage responsive HTML emails.
- Produce comprehensive monthly and quarterly web and social analytic reports.
- Leverage competitive intelligence and reporting to drive future strategy.
- Manage daily operations across all social media platforms.
- Work closely with the Health Sciences Communications and Marketing team and across units.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, English, or a related field required.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a combination of the following: Social media management, Marketing, Digital content creation.
- Professional proficiency in HTML email design, as well as audio, video, and photography production experience preferred.
- Experience in an academic medical center or higher education preferred.
- Relational Skill: Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and diverse groups across the University and WVU Medicine.
- Valid driver’s license as local and regional travel may be required.
