About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in the development, coordination, monitoring, and implementation of research strategies for clinical trials
Perform documentation, tracking, data abstraction and collection
Work with Pharm D on dosage and titration of study drug
Manage drug treatment schedules
Educate nurses regarding studies/trials with participating children
Attend clinical coordinator meetings
Assure that patient visits are scheduled accordingly
Collaborate with principal investigators to resolve implementation problems
Educate patients and/or family members about study requirements
Participate in recruitment of potential protocols for activation
Review and discuss clinical procedures within the unit with new employees

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in an allied health discipline or related medical field
A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a clinical setting and/or experience working in clinical trials
Excellent time and project management skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and personnel
Knowledge of many different and unrelated processes and methods related to Pediatric clinical trials
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups
