About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Utilizes expertise in machine learning and advanced statistical methods to analyze data sources
  • Provides guidance to teams in optimal use of Artificial Intelligence in data analytics
  • Oversees and mentors other analysts as directed by the Director
  • Leads data risk assessments and identifies data quality and security issues
  • Provides consultation regarding statistical methods and analysis designs
  • Conducts predictive and geospatial data analytics
  • Serves as HAI representative to the DoHS for project planning and performance
  • Prepares reports required by the University and external agencies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PhD in health-related field required
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in health outcomes and policy research
  • Experience in using Artificial Intelligence in data analytics
  • Experience and knowledge in predictive analytics using machine learning
  • Good knowledge in Medicaid Claims data
  • Knowledge in conducting in-house training
  • Extensive knowledge in utilizing large health databases for research, program evaluation, and policy development
  • Extensive knowledge in machine learning
