Director of Revenue Management

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads the Revenue Management unit within Enrollment Management
- Provides strategic leadership and oversight for student financial account operations
- Ensures accurate, timely, and compliant administration of student accounts
- Responsible for accounting, reporting, reconciling, and analyzing student-based revenue
- Directs and manages all student accounts functions including billing, collections, cash management, and reconciliation
- Creates reports and forecasts for University-wide decisions on cash flow
- Monitors student accounts receivable and implements strategies to reduce outstanding balances
- Prepares dashboard reporting for presentations to senior management
- Oversees payment processing systems
- Manages a team of professional staff and ensures high productivity
- Establishes short- and long-term goals; mentors and coaches staff
- Collaborates with ITS to maintain system functionality and upgrades
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a highly automated, fast paced, data driven, and stressful service work environment
- Experience working in higher education, specifically in a student services related area
- Experience with advanced financial systems software and a student information system, preferably Banner, along with Argos, Excel, TouchNet, Workday, etc.
- Supervisory or management experience
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
