About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leads the Revenue Management unit within Enrollment Management
  • Provides strategic leadership and oversight for student financial account operations
  • Ensures accurate, timely, and compliant administration of student accounts
  • Responsible for accounting, reporting, reconciling, and analyzing student-based revenue
  • Directs and manages all student accounts functions including billing, collections, cash management, and reconciliation
  • Creates reports and forecasts for University-wide decisions on cash flow
  • Monitors student accounts receivable and implements strategies to reduce outstanding balances
  • Prepares dashboard reporting for presentations to senior management
  • Oversees payment processing systems
  • Manages a team of professional staff and ensures high productivity
  • Establishes short- and long-term goals; mentors and coaches staff
  • Collaborates with ITS to maintain system functionality and upgrades

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a highly automated, fast paced, data driven, and stressful service work environment
  • Experience working in higher education, specifically in a student services related area
  • Experience with advanced financial systems software and a student information system, preferably Banner, along with Argos, Excel, TouchNet, Workday, etc.
  • Supervisory or management experience
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
