About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Leads the Revenue Management unit within Enrollment Management
Provides strategic leadership and oversight for student financial account operations
Ensures accurate, timely, and compliant administration of student accounts
Responsible for accounting, reporting, reconciling, and analyzing student-based revenue
Directs and manages all student accounts functions including billing, collections, cash management, and reconciliation
Creates reports and forecasts for University-wide decisions on cash flow
Monitors student accounts receivable and implements strategies to reduce outstanding balances
Prepares dashboard reporting for presentations to senior management
Oversees payment processing systems
Manages a team of professional staff and ensures high productivity
Establishes short- and long-term goals; mentors and coaches staff
Collaborates with ITS to maintain system functionality and upgrades

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a highly automated, fast paced, data driven, and stressful service work environment
Experience working in higher education, specifically in a student services related area
Experience with advanced financial systems software and a student information system, preferably Banner, along with Argos, Excel, TouchNet, Workday, etc.
Supervisory or management experience
Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
