About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in establishing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with subject matter expert (SME)
  • Update MoU spreadsheet to reflect when items are received from SME and tasks are completed
  • Maintain communication with subject matter expert (SME) assigned to the course on a regular basis
  • Build course modules in WVU eCampus following the schedule established by the MoU
  • Ensure courses have a “Start Here” section with any needed content
  • Follow best practices for making content accessible

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in Instructional Design or related field
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience designing online courses for higher education
  • Experience developing content on and working with learning management systems (LMS)
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
