About the role

  • Plans and implements a student recruitment program to meet enrollment goals
  • Responsible for meeting territory and programmatic enrollment goals through various approaches
  • Serves as a liaison for guidance and career counselors, educators, prospective students, and families
  • Interprets admissions requirements and procedures outlined in PSC’s online catalog
  • Proactively follows up with students, parents, and high school counselors through enrollment
  • Coordinates individual and group visits to campus to promote PSC
  • Manages prospective student communication by phone, email, virtual and print
  • Plans and executes proactive recruitment outreach via email, virtual, and written communication
  • Partners with Enrollment team to organize informational virtual series for prospective students

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in sales, marketing or public relations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and commitment to working with students and staff from diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated experience in program planning
  • Superior skills in planning, organization, teamwork and time management
  • Must be able to constructively and collegially interact with multiple members of the WVU Potomac State College community
  • Ability to relate to the concerns of prospective students and families
  • Ability to travel frequently (often overnight) and to work extended hours and some weekends
  • Experience with BANNER, Salesforce and/or Target X preferred
