About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, innovate, and implement solutions to improve systems and processes
  • Advocate for customers, understand business needs, and identify improvement and productivity opportunities
  • Assess analytical needs and determine appropriate courses of action

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or Hospital Administration, OR bachelor’s degree in the listed fields
  • 4 years of data analytics experience may substitute for the required degree
  • EPIC official designation of “Proficient” required within the new hire probationary period
  • 1 year of experience with relational database structures, including design, testing, troubleshooting, and/or training, for the master’s-degree pathway
  • 1 year of experience in data analysis and/or healthcare planning for the master’s-degree pathway
  • 1 year of experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports for the master’s-degree pathway
  • 2 years of experience with relational database structures, including design, testing, troubleshooting, and/or training, for the bachelor’s-degree pathway
  • 2 years of experience in data analysis and/or healthcare planning for the bachelor’s-degree pathway
  • 2 years of experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports for the bachelor’s-degree pathway
  • Experience with SQL/Oracle and/or Business Objects
  • Internal employees must meet all mandatory competencies in their current position to qualify for promotion within IT
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a team member
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary groups and facilitate meetings
