Lead Genetic Counselor

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide expert genetic counseling services to patients and families.
- Oversee and mentor other genetic counselors.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement protocols and procedures for the clinical enterprise.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in genetic counseling or a closely related field such as biology, biochemistry, genetics, or psychology.
- Certified Genetic Counselor through the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Five (5) years as a Genetic Counselor or relevant experience.
- Three (3) years leadership/administrative experience in a leadership role supervising others, leading quality improvement initiatives, developing educational programs.
