Respiratory Therapist – Casual

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides evaluation of and care for respiratory therapy patients
- Administers prescribed respiratory therapeutic services
- Performs basic and advanced therapeutic procedures for patients
- Initiates, maintains, and discontinues mechanical ventilation
- Communicates effectively with healthcare team
- Participates in departmental quality assurance and performance improvement activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed respiratory therapist by the applicable state
- Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
- One (1) year respiratory therapist experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred
- Two (2) years respiratory therapist experience preferred
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE certification preferred
