About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participates in the implementation, enhancement, standardization, and operation of financial software Workday, Strata, and related software.
- Understands and helps manage the functional aspects of financial systems and assists in developing standards for common use among all health system entities.
- Provides user support and training for financial applications.
- Works directly with IT staff to correct system deficiencies and operating issues.
- Assists in developing and documenting requirements, configurations, and test plans for various scenarios.
- Maintains data integrity and helps analyze production problems to ensure resolutions.
- Assists in establishing quality control mechanisms for software functionality and consistent application of standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, healthcare, computer science, business, informatics, or related field.
- Five (5) years of previous working experience in an accounting, finance or business office department.
- Experience using or supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.
- Experience with business operations workflow in a healthcare environment such as, general ledger accounting, budgeting, accounts receivable, asset management, accounts payable, cash management, and capital projects.
- Experience with financial statement preparation/analysis.
