About the role
- Support the operational efficiency of the Pharmacy Department by coordinating fiscal management activities.
- Perform data analysis and maintain departmental statistics and reports.
- Coordinate accounting and financial processes to maximize efficiency in daily operations.
- Review medication purchases, revenue, and contract pharmacy fees.
- Generate reports related to current expenses as the basis for the budget.
- Assist in completing financial documentation for budget and audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Hospital Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field, AND Two (2) years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare OR one (1) year of experience with pharmacy financial reporting.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Hospital Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field, AND Four (4) years of experience in pharmacy OR healthcare OR Three (3) year of experience with pharmacy financial reporting.
- High School Diploma AND Eight (8) years' experience in a healthcare setting
- Two (2) years of experience in a professional capacity in healthcare, preferably in Pharmacy.
- Direct experience in data analysis and/or health care planning background preferred.
