Key Account Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You are responsible for developing sales of our product ranges with major industrial key accounts through field-based activities.
- You will achieve quantitative and specific targets: revenue, margin, number and types of clients.
- Reporting to the Director of Key Account Managers, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving commercial development across a defined territory with a structured, results-oriented approach for the following departments: 67, 68, 57, 54, 88 and 55.
- Acting as the commercial and technical point of contact for your clients and prospects, proposing solutions tailored to their challenges.
- Leading contractual negotiations with purchasing departments and executive management of key accounts.
- Providing expert advice throughout the sales process and working closely with the company's various departments: inside sales, purchasing, quality, logistics.
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction with a focus on long-term retention.
- Analyzing sales trends, identifying levers to adjust forecasts and meet targets set with Sales Management.
- Producing regular, structured reports on your commercial activity and conducting strategic market monitoring.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You hold a qualification in Sales/Business (minimum Bac +2 equivalent) or can demonstrate significant sales experience.
- You have a genuine commercial development mindset and are able to identify opportunities.
- You optimize performance through KPI monitoring, have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of numbers.
- Organized and structured, you can effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects in parallel and meet strategic deadlines.
- You communicate by adapting your message to varied interlocutors and know how to build lasting relationships by positioning yourself as a reliable, trusted partner.
- You must be proficient in Excel (use of formulas, lookup functions, data analysis and processing, etc.).
- SAP proficiency is essential.
- A good level of English or German is an asset.
