About the role

  • Lead and review monthly and quarterly close activities, such as journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting analytical reviews.
  • Maintain a rigorous focus on the integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting to support executive decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with global accounting standards, including US GAAP, local GAAP, and IFRS; support reconciliations and statutory reporting obligations.
  • Support external and internal audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, statutory financial statements, and regulatory filings.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in NetSuite to streamline accounting workflows, enhance system functionality, and improve reporting capabilities.
  • Manage and oversee payroll processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy across the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to increase the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of finance operations and data pipelines.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the broader operational teams, including special projects, system implementations, and business case development as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years specifically in a Senior Accountant role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
  • Deep proficiency in NetSuite is essential; experience with payroll systems and project management tools is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial reporting and accounting operations for multiple entities.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a very strong plus.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
