About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and review monthly and quarterly close activities, such as journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting analytical reviews.
Maintain a rigorous focus on the integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting to support executive decision-making.
Ensure compliance with global accounting standards, including US GAAP, local GAAP, and IFRS; support reconciliations and statutory reporting obligations.
Support external and internal audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, statutory financial statements, and regulatory filings.
Act as a subject matter expert in NetSuite to streamline accounting workflows, enhance system functionality, and improve reporting capabilities.
Manage and oversee payroll processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy across the organization.
Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to increase the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of finance operations and data pipelines.
Provide ad-hoc support to the broader operational teams, including special projects, system implementations, and business case development as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years specifically in a Senior Accountant role.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
Deep proficiency in NetSuite is essential; experience with payroll systems and project management tools is preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in financial reporting and accounting operations for multiple entities.
Fluency in Spanish is a very strong plus.
Exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
