About the role
- Drive the architectural vision for AI systems across WunderGraph’s stack.
- Take full ownership of complex AI features, from design to production operations.
- Influence the full-stack experience by aligning frontend, backend, and AI workflows.
- Ensure security, scalability, and enterprise readiness in everything you ship.
- Elevate the engineering org by mentoring peers, raising standards, and sharing knowledge.
Requirements
- Staff Level (IC5) experience architecting and operating complex, user-facing applications in production.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and API design.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and GraphQL Federation is a strong plus.
- Experience building developer tools, platforms, or products for highly technical users.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical direction and resolve ambiguous challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-starter with a leader’s mindset: proactive, decisive, and comfortable driving change.
