About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support clients with benefit plan analysis, design, cost savings, and benchmarking
  • Perform detailed calculations throughout the benefit renewal process, including premiums and reserves
  • Assist with pricing and employee contribution strategies and insurer negotiations
  • Analyze and compare vendor products, services, and contracts
  • Evaluate responses to surveys and RFPs
  • Work alongside consultants on real client assignments
  • Analyze complex data, present results, and contribute to programs that help employers manage costs, improve health outcomes, and elevate the employee experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, or another major with significant quantitative coursework
  • Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed client standards
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a close team environment
  • Must be present at the WTW office in Montreal, QC, 1–2 days per week
  • Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams highly preferred for actuarial students
  • Work experience demonstrating strong technical and/or client service skills; analyst-type internship preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Ability to provide services in French and English, including communications exclusively in French and interactions with French-speaking stakeholders in Canada
  • Submit one document containing a CV/resume, cover letter, and unofficial transcript
