About the role

  • Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the internal ITSM platform, ensuring availability and performance.
  • Create and maintain integrations between the ITSM system and other corporate services.
  • Maintain and evolve backend services developed in PHP (including possible legacy code) and Node.js.
  • Build stable, secure, and well-documented REST APIs.
  • Read, understand and modernize legacy code while preserving business rules (common in ITSM platforms).
  • Design, query, optimize and maintain the MySQL database.
  • Create stored procedures, indexes, performance analyses and tuning.
  • Ensure transactional consistency and integrity of the application.
  • Make adjustments and fixes to existing screens (HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery or lightweight frameworks).
  • Contribute to small UX improvements across platform modules.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in backend or full stack development.
  • Proven experience with PHP, Node.js and MySQL (maintenance and evolution).
  • Preferably prior experience in environments following ITIL / ITSM processes.
  • PHP (OOP) — maintenance and development of services, APIs and modules.
  • Node.js — REST APIs, integrations and asynchronous services.
  • MySQL / MariaDB — queries, modeling, tuning, indexes.
  • Experience with Git, version control and basic CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of web application architecture and engineering best practices.
  • Solid understanding of system integrations (REST, logging, token/JWT authentication).
