Rail Studies Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join our railway engineering unit and contribute to various study phases
- Carry out design studies at different stages (AVP - preliminary design, PRO - detailed design, DCE - tender documentation)
- Analyze input data and the existing context
- Produce graphical deliverables using specialized design tools
- Design technical solutions related to track alignment and clearance envelope
- Contribute to track superstructure (track structure) studies
- Contribute to the technical quality of deliverables and ensure compliance with French railway standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Bac+3 to Bac+5 or equivalent)
- Significant experience in a railway engineering consultancy
- Proficiency in railway alignment design (GEORAIL, COVADIS, AUTOCAD…)
- Good knowledge of French railway standards
- Experience in BIM design is an asset
- Analytical thinking, synthesis skills and critical judgment
- Rigor, autonomy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
- Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity and a willingness to develop professional skills.
