About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle timber structure projects through all SIA phases 21 to 53
- Perform structural modeling and calculations, including seismic checks
- Develop technical details and execution/construction drawings in coordination with the project’s various stakeholders
- Work as part of a team with an experienced project manager as well as with architects, contractors and specialized partners
- Contribute to the preparation of tender submissions and associated technical documents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in engineering specialized in timber construction or equivalent qualification
- Ideally 2 years of experience in timber structures
- Proficiency in structural modeling and structural calculations, including seismic analysis
- Drawing skills for producing timber framing and connection/assembly drawings using software such as cadwork 2D/3D
- Ability to work effectively in a team within a stimulating environment
- Excellent command of French, ideally complemented by knowledge of English and/or German
- Dynamic, organized, autonomous and proactive personality, with a strong sense of priorities and rigor
