About the role
- Reporting to a Project Manager, you will primarily work in an engineering/design office.
- Carry out geological characterization of railway ballast and interpret results in accordance with standard NF X 46-102.
- Perform macroscopic characterization of natural rocks and determine their lithology.
- Identify rocks and assess the asbestiform risk associated with each lithology.
- Prepare geological reports and incorporate petrographic analysis results performed in the laboratory.
- Define Zones Presenting Similarities of Structure (ZPSO).
- Contribute to the organization and monitoring of projects, in compliance with WSP's Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental procedures.
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac +5) in geology (Engineering degree or Master) or equivalent qualification.
- Strong skills in geology and rock identification.
- Experience in contaminated sites and soils or in a similar technical environment is a plus.
- Good level of autonomy, team spirit, and strong adaptability.
- Rigor, synthesis skills and strong writing/reporting abilities.
- Comfortable with administrative aspects of project management.
