About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create, review, and edit content for digital external and internal communications distributed by email or published online
  • Work with attorney teams on alerts, newsletters, and reports
  • Collaborate with relevant attorneys and internal admin teams to prepare and publish client highlights and firm news items
  • Assist with the creation and review of content for the firm’s flagship website and certain microsites
  • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly internal news compilations
  • Help ensure content consistency with the firm’s brand standards and style guidelines
  • Work with the MarCom team to develop content channels for effective communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or marketing/business degree required, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years of marketing communications experience; law firm or professional services marketing experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Copy editing experience strongly preferred
  • Responsive to requests, with the ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them well within a short timeframe with accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a larger team
  • Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Shared collaboration application use experience (MS Teams, MS Sharepoint, and/or sophisticated content management systems)
  • Experience with emailer-building software (e.g., Stripo) and managing email campaigns is preferred
  • Experience with WordPress or similar blog software is preferred
  • Experience with RubyLaw CMS a plus.
