About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with the Retail Office Manager to direct branch activities and accomplish sales and service objectives
Enhance customer relationships and attract new customers while maintaining the current customer base
Personally serve customers while performing management duties
Conduct monthly coaching sessions
Direct business development activities
Oversee branch operations and scheduling
Provide a high level of customer service
Foster an engaged environment among branch Associates
Partner with WSFS Mortgage, WSFS Wealth, Commercial Lending, and other departments to strengthen and grow customer relationships
Work a 40-hour schedule including 2-3 Saturdays per month, subject to business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail banking
Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience in a retail banking environment
Previous consultative sales experience
Previous experience in branch operations, including procedures, policies, control, and regulations
Strong knowledge of deposit and retail loan products
Familiarity with business lending products
Knowledge of financial fundamentals, including computation of interest and monthly payments
Strong knowledge of teller operations and processing
Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency in basic computer skills
Flexibility with scheduling
Ability to work a 40-hour week including 2-3 Saturdays per month
