About the role

  • Support stakeholder discussions to understand business needs and document requirements.
  • Assist in translating business needs into user stories or technical requirements using Agile or Waterfall approaches.
  • Help develop functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to understand technical options and constraints.
  • Assist in documenting current-state processes, data flows, and system interactions.
  • Support analysis of system inputs/outputs, dependencies, and basic performance findings.
  • Help with data mapping, schema documentation, and low-complexity enhancements.
  • Support testing and validation of system changes.
  • Assist in drafting system, integration, and data flow documentation.
  • Create and validate workflow diagrams under supervision.
  • Support UI wireframes and basic interface/API documentation.
  • Ensure alignment of requirements with business and technical objectives.
  • Create and update Epics, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps, Copado, or Jira.
  • Maintain acceptance criteria, status updates, and traceability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Execute predefined test cases and log defects.
  • Assist with UAT and validation of business requirements.
  • Support implementation tracking, deployment readiness, and integration validation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent years of education and/or experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
  • Experience supporting system integrations and data flow requirements.
  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
  • Ability to obtain CCBA and/or PMI‑PBA certification.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools for work item and backlog management.
  • Familiarity with Copado and JIRA is a plus.
  • Experience in data mapping, data transformation, and integrating multiple data sources.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and project delivery methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to collaborate across business and technology teams to deliver aligned solutions.
