About the role
- Manage Private Banking relationships for high-net-worth individuals
- Develop new relationships involving sale and servicing of credit, deposit and wealth management services
- Attend to the needs of private banking and wealth management customers primarily seeking consumer loans, commercial loans, lines of credit and deposit products
- Serve as the primary liaison to internal partners in the Commercial and Consumer divisions
- Call on prospective clients and professional service providers to develop new relationships
- Interview customers and prospects to assess financial needs and decisions on loans
- Serve as Co-Advisor with in-house Investment Advisors for professional money management services
- Keep abreast of regulatory, economic, and financial market trends
- Actively participate in community functions and expand knowledge in Private Banking and wealth management services
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in a Finance related field
- CFP, CTFA, MBA, JD or similar designation preferred
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of lending, Private Banking, or wealth management experience
- Knowledge of key financial, investment, and fiduciary concepts along with a strong knowledge of commercial, consumer loan and deposit products
- Must be able to travel within the Bank’s footprint to branch and wealth management locations and visit customers
- Results oriented, sales aptitude with demonstrated ability to achieve organizational and business goals
- Must be self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Superior interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have excellent listening and presentation skills
- Must have an excellent problem solving ability.
