About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Realize and implement complex projects primarily using Java 11-21
Architect robust backend services
Take responsibility for frontend development with Vue.js
Build SPA applications that interact with REST APIs
Participate actively in conceptual and agile development processes
Take ownership of high code quality and in-time, bug-free software project completion
Address technical debt in older projects
Ensure new features use current web standards and latest technologies
Work with a team of developers and contribute through communication and mentorship

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years of experience
Deep knowledge of Java 11-21 and Spring Boot
Familiarity with architectural needs of highly available, performant, and scalable web services
Knowledge of MongoDB and Cassandra
Solid understanding of modern frontend development with Vue.js, TypeScript, and Pinia
Understanding of UI presentation and UX principles using Vuetify or Bootstrap
Experience in TDD, including JUnit for backend and Jest/Vitest for UI
Familiarity with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
Experience in agile software development, such as Scrum or Kanban
Willingness to leverage AI tools such as Claude Code
Teamwork, clear communication, and mentorship abilities
Strong English communication skills for global and cross-location communication
Willingness to work Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm Dhaka Time
