About the role

  • Partner with client services to ensure exceptional delivery of clients' needs
  • Work closely with paid, earned & owned media, digital intelligence, and executive leadership teams during every phase of programs
  • Manage multiple programs or single enterprise-level programs from beginning to end
  • Plan, manage, monitor, and control execution of digital initiatives in partnership with channel team leadership
  • Manage program scope, identify/define/communicate risks and change requests, and take action to minimize impact
  • Run internal and client-facing meetings, take detailed action items, and disseminate meeting recaps
  • Develop and maintain detailed program documentation such as timelines and project trackers
  • Create workflows, train teams, and manage project tasks & deliverables using various project management software
  • Ensure client programs utilize and adhere to PMO templates and processes
  • Generate and own key PMO department initiatives
  • Co-own program success with client service counterparts
  • Manage and mentor junior-level project managers, as appropriate
  • Own continuous process improvement for your program and direct reports, as applicable
  • Focus on details of tasks, deadlines, and accuracy of deliverables

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in an interactive agency, managing large-scale, multi-faceted digital programs
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Once eligible, PMP Certification is expected within one year of hire. Wpromote covers the training fees for PMP Certification
  • Ability to autonomously lead project management for any program type
  • Skills required to oversee, train, and mentor jr. level project managers, if applicable
  • Advanced abilities in using Asana or similar task management software
  • Experience working autonomously and being part of a team
  • Proficiency in documenting, tracking, and following up on many simultaneous tasks
  • Experience authoring essential project documentation such as project management plans, change, issue and risk logs, and status reports
  • Strong understanding of the typical workflows for the digital creative process, paid media marketing, earned media marketing, analytics, and client management
  • Ability to develop rapport with, and successfully communicate and collaborate with senior-level clients and team members
  • Ability to pinpoint program pain-points, identify areas in need of process improvement, and own the full process improvement lifecycle
  • Strong risk management skills & ability to minimize the impact on program success
  • Ability to identify the need for, and implementation of complex, cross-channel workflows
  • Strong change management skills (preparing and supporting teams, establishing the steps necessary for change, and monitoring post-change activities)
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and partner agencies
  • Strong skills in leadership, problem-solving, negotiating, influencing, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution
  • Must reside within Pacific or Mountain Time Zone
