About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead full-funnel paid social strategy, execution, optimization, and measurement for a portfolio of high-growth clients
  • Drive strategic client partnerships and solve complex performance challenges
  • Collaborate with paid search, client strategy, creative, analytics, and programmatic experts to deliver integrated marketing solutions
  • Identify growth opportunities and connect paid social initiatives to broader business outcomes
  • Manage a team of 2–5 Director and Associate Director-level leaders
  • Own client retention and growth, profitable resource and P&L management, and contributions to company OKRs and vision roadmap
  • Oversee key client accounts with executive leadership, business strategy, and innovation conversations
  • Champion measurement modernization, including incrementality testing, MMM, platform partner adoption, and AI-assisted workflows
  • Conduct performance reviews, monthly check-ins, and professional development plans for direct reports
  • Train and coach leaders and account teams on media planning, campaign building and optimization, reporting, platform nuances, data processing, and analysis
  • Coach direct reports on foundational leadership skills
  • Refine training processes and materials for scalable, AI-enabled onboarding
  • Maintain knowledge of paid search, SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and programmatic
  • Assist sales with audits, decks, and pitches for prospective clients
  • Improve business processes and workflows across account teams, clients, accounting, and marketing
  • Report to the Head of Paid Social and upper executives on growth, retention, new business, and partnerships
  • Identify, solve, and escalate critical client or account issues
  • Provide concise, actionable information to senior leadership
  • Strengthen partnerships with social platforms and leverage emerging product opportunities
  • Lead social-related discussions and participate in internal or public speaking opportunities as a paid social thought leader

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 9+ years of experience working in paid media advertising, comprising media planning/buying in paid social for high-growth ecosystems within an agency environment
  • Minimum of 3–4 years of prior staff management experience, with career development and mentoring experience
  • Positive attitude and strong coaching/leadership skills
  • Performance marketing and brand marketing/planning experience required
  • Experience contributing to new business pitches, strategic audits, or account growth planning
  • Strong fluency with incrementality testing, MMM, and server-side/CAPI integrations, or experience overseeing teams that operationalize them
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • Working knowledge of the platform partner ecosystem (e.g., Meta Business Partners) and broader ad tech landscape
  • Expert working experience in Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Asana
  • Strong experience building and articulating full-funnel growth marketing initiatives for diverse clients and verticals
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Smartly, Sprinklr, or other AI-enabled advertising, automation, reporting, QA, or ad operations tools (nice to have)
  • Track record designing or operationalizing AI-assisted workflows, automation, or tooling (nice to have)
  • Advanced analytical skills, including SQL or comparable analytics proficiency and comfort with BI/dashboards (nice to have)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
