About the role
- Draft and refine training scripts, storyboards, job aids, and live-learning decks that translate data into compelling clinical stories.
- Adapt tone, format, and complexity to fit diverse audiences.
- Partner with designers and developers to visualize scientific concepts through infographics, animations, and interactive elements.
- Conduct literature searches and critically appraise primary sources, guidelines, and competitive data.
- Reference all content to internal SOPs, client style guides, and AMA standards.
- Align copy with Medical-Legal-Regulatory (MLR) requirements and proactively flag risk areas.
- Perform self-QC and peer reviews to uphold consistency, grammar, and brand voice.
- Contribute to agile content sprints with Strategists, Designers, and Project Managers.
- Participate in client calls as needed to clarify scientific nuances and iterate on feedback.
- Stay current on therapeutic-area trends, new clinical data, and emerging learning technologies.
Requirements
- Graduate degree (MS, PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a biomedical or life-science discipline
- 1-3 years in medical, scientific, or health-communications writing, preferably for training or HCP-education audiences.
- Superior command of English; able to simplify complex science without sacrificing nuance.
- Working knowledge of AMA style, ICH/Good-Publication-Practice, MLR expectations, and US drug development landscape.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365; familiarity with one or more of the following is a plus such as Articulate Rise/Storyline, Veeva, XML/HTML, Figma/Miro, Gen-AI writing tools.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, receptive to feedback, and comfortable in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
- Occasional travel (= 10%) for workshops or client meetings.
